The PCP Capital Partners Group was founded in 2005 by Amanda Staveley, Chief Executive Officer. The Group is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

PCP first came to international prominence with the takeover of Manchester City Football Club and then PCP’s leadership of the £3.25bn Abu Dhabi recapitalisation of Barclays Bank in 2008, considered to be one of the world’s outstanding corporate transactions in recent years.

PCP Capital Partners has invested into UK assets over the last 15 years in off-market transactions, both as a principal investor and through its advisory real estate division.

Notable investments and acquisitions include the Park House development on Oxford Street and the Arundel Great Court mixed use development in central London from Land Securities.

Amanda Staveley

Amanda Staveley was chosen as Harper’s Bazaar UK Businesswoman of the Year in 2009 and was highlighted by Investors Chronicle in 2010 as one of the 150 people most likely to influence the financial world. In 2011, PCP won the Transaction of the Year award in the UK PROPS Awards for the Park House acquisition.

Amanda has been a regular speaker at international financial summits, including The Milken Institute and the FT Festival of Finance.
